Christmas 2006
The boys spent Christmas day with their dad this year so we decided to have an adult (so to speak.....) Christmas, and headed for the high country...
Sunrise from our balcony at David Walley's Resort, Hot Springs & Spa - Genoa, NV.
Our "White Christmas" came just one day late, still very nice....
We went up to the Heavenly Ski Resort and Robin did very well on her first ski trip since her back surgery.  We took it very easy and rested several times along the way...(as seen here)
These deer came by to graze on the "greener grass" every morning.
While we were skiing it snowed and the truck grew icicles.....
We had our Christmas celebration with the children a couple days late but that didn't make it any less of an event - and the fact that Alex and Stephanie were able to join us just made it that much better.
Robin enjoys decorating for the holidays and always sets a very nice table for Christmas dinner.

This year we had fish - Halibut caught in the icy waters just north of Vancouver Island.

And just in case you would like to see the fish I'm talking about.....
There were gifts for everyone.  The boys were very happy to get these snowboarding clothes.  I wouldn't be surprized if they wear them to school.

We hope you had a happy Christmas and would like to wish all of you the best in 2007.
