Kitchen Remodel in Progress
Here is the "before" picture.  Very cramped quarters - bargain basement cabinetry and those hideously large grout lines between brown tiles that must have been left over from some flooring project somewhere.
Easy as 1-2-3 and it's all GONE.  Day one is in the books.
Day Two - Big DEMO Day
Removing the old soffit ceiling.
That's insulation all over the floor.
Taking out the old wall.  These guys had
a lot of fun doing the demo...
New wall taking shape 36 inches in front of the old wall.
On day 3 the wall was finished.  On day 4 the the electritain got most of the inside wiring done.  We also had to upgrade the main breaker box into the house so it would be able to handle the new appliances - this is the 200 amp box that replaced the 100 amp box that was built with the house.

The box replacement alone took most of day 5.  While they were working outside on the box, they were working hard inside the house to get it ready for cabinet installation.
Dry wall up and ready for paint.  We did end up moving the light cans one more time after this but there's no room to tell that story here...  They painted the following day and then were ready for the cabinetry.
