Redwood Run 2007
This year we were supposed to have the largest group yet for the ride up, but it ended up just being Lenny, Robin, & Rich.  Hopefully next year we can get everyone together.  Above is a picture of the stage and the food, beer, and T-shirt area.  That line you're looking at is the T-shirt line (some 3 hours long at this point).  They sell out of the best ones early - so if you want one you have to pay the price and stand in line.  None of us needed another T-shirt that bad.
Rich looking down over a set of tight twisties where Hwy 49 crosses the Merced River as it flows out of Bear Valley.
A view of Lake Tahoe that Rich didn't get to see.  He was in Carson getting his primary drive repaired.  It started making VERY BAD noises after coming over the Sieras.
The trip over the Sieras included a 45 mile ride in snow with sub freezing temps.  We would have taken a picture for you but it was too cold to stop!!  Kinda late in the year for that kind of weather but we gutted it out and made it to the Super 8 in South Lake Taho.  This is what the trailer cover looked like the next morning.
This is what the tent trailer looks like behind the bike.
2006 Redwood Run "Road Less Traveled" and a WHOLE nuther story!!
And what it looks like after it's folded out at the campground.
Home Sweet Home.
After getting camp set up, it was time to go into town and get chairs for the hillside.  The girls might not complain so much about the new style "King/Queen" seat shown here...
We bought a cork screw in town & couldn't find it.  But, where there's a will, there's a way.  Vise Grips and a shet metal screw....
We woke up Sunday morning to the rain!!  Guess we could have had better weather for the ride home but it dried out about 100 miles down the road.  The rest of the ride home was dry and warm/hot.

We met some great people that we are hoping to see next year and touched bases with some of the people we've met in past years.

Good times & great rides. We're all looking forward to Redwood Run 2008.
