Redwood Run 2010
This was our "on the hook" ride.  Never had to flat bed the bike and trailer but we had to make that call twice!

Here is the cluprit for the first flat bed ride.  Fifty miles outside Jamestown, California (no cell phone coverage) the drive belt broke.

We were lucky to be with friends & Robin got a ride into town where she coordinated the tow truck.  It took FOUR hours but there is a Harley dealer in Jamestown so we should be OK tomorrow.
Come to find out, the belt failure was the least of our problems.  The DynoJet Power Commander (brain) was dead.  This is not something dealers stock, but they were able to find one and it was overnighted at great expense.  Three days and two nights later (I'll spare you the details) the bike was ready to go.  However, we had already sent our friends on their way and it was too late for us to try to make it up to the party.

In an effort to salvage our ride we headed for Yosemite.  We just started up the road toward the park and found a campground.
