This is a 70 pound halibut, caught off Berry Rock, which is between the island of Vancouver and the mainland way up at the north end of the island. The skipper of the boat and the man that put me "on the fish" is my father. Thanks Dad!!
First Canadian Coho - caught somewhere between the red can and the green can just south of Quadra Island.

The boys love to fish too. They are chomping at the bit to get out and wet a line as soon as we get to Scotia Bay. They will sit and fish for sand dabs off the dock for hours on end, just waiting for their Da or Grandpa to take them salmon or Black Bass fishing. Here are some of their Scotia Bay highlights (2004-2006).
The big guy in the middle there is Glenn, the original skipper of the Scotia Bay fishing boat & a very close family friend.
And let's not forget mom. Not bad for her first salmon ever. She caugt these in 2003 and has been a fishing fan ever since.
